Just another day...

Today was Greg's birthday. The big 37, and he thinks it's just another day. It is. Hair is greyer, doesn't get around as easy, but still loves life.

Ah, remodeling....

Well, hopefully come February 2008 we can get our kitchen completed. Here's a quick taste of the beginnings of it, this is the "great room" part of it - full of wonderfully DeMill built cabinets, and the helpers (I'm at work).

Tis' the season to be jolly...

Finally, we're figuring this thing out. Happy Holiday's everyone. Glad it's 2008, now. The Holiday's were great. Nice time off to be with the family. Plenty of snow (too much for Sherece's taste). Lot's of snow has been a headache (and backache) for those who don't own a snowblower. Kids have "tried" to help, but a nice snowblower would be nice. Any ideas?

The snow has prevented our little Maura to participate. She broke her arm doing what her and her big sister love, gymnastics. It was one of the grossest things I've ever seen. Her arm made an "S". She snapped both bones in her forearm. She hung tough, and already only has just a couple more weeks left with it. Sad. They had to give her "medicine" to help her sleep while they put it in place. Sherece and my Dad were tough enough to stay in there, my Mom and I had to leave. She's doing great, though.

Christmas Eve is spent at the extended Hunt Family's home - overnight with all the grandkids, but another tradition we started a couple years ago is to go to IHOP on Christmas Eve morning - but this year, Sherece had to work, so we went on the Saturday before. It was fun to have the kids actually eat all their meals - just a great time. But then on Christmas Eve morn, Sherece was able to get off early, to do a little Christmas magic and "decorate" the girls rooms. The painting, etc were completed on that day, so the girls could see their rooms done, on Christmas morning, after coming home from Gma/Gpa's sleepover. Boy were they excited.

Check out the performance by my parents on the Christmas Eve festivities. Talent runs in the family.....

The boys and I enjoyed my Santa gift of Guitar hero-and all can jam. Wes, of course enjoyed getting more cars, and cars. Yes gifts are fun, but our family really enjoys the time spent together, remembering our Savior's birth.
